“ I was amazed by how good everything tasted! I personally love dried mixed noodles, so I highly recommend their signature beat mazesoba. The flavors are perfectly balanced. The pork belly is flavorfulnot too heavy and not too dry. It has definitely become my goto order! The karrage bite is also good. The portion isnt very large, but its enough to share with 23 people. ”
“ Beat mazesoba offers an excellent dining experience with its innovative take on Japanese cuisine. The restaurants mazesoba dishes are the main attraction, combining delicious flavors and textures. The Beat mazesoba is a standout dish. It features a perfect combination of tender pork belly and flavorful ground pork, topped with a jammy onsen egg that adds richness when mixed in. The dish is further enhanced with scallions and arugula, providing freshness and a slight peppery note. The sauce has a delightful smoky soy flavor that ties everything together. A splash of rice vinegar, provided on the side, adds a pleasant acidity that cuts through the richness. The Curry mazesoba offers a different but equally delicious experience. The curry sauce is creamy with a slight sweetness, complementing the ground pork perfectly. Its a comforting dish that brings a unique twist to traditional Japanese curry. For starters, the Salmon avocado salad is a refreshing choice. The salmon is marinated in a flavorful blend of sesame oil and soy sauce, giving it a rich, umami taste. Its served with creamy avocado and tangy capers, creating a wellbalanced dish. The salad also includes a spring mix and comes with two types of ginger and a special dipping sauce, adding layers of flavor and texture. The restaurant has a clever concept of serving rice with the mazesoba. This allows diners to mix the leftover sauce with rice after finishing the noodles, ensuring not a drop of the delicious sauce goes to waste. While the food is undeniably delicious, the indoor environment could be improved. The seating area is a bit dark and stuffy with limited air circulation. Its unfortunate that the outdoor seating wasnt open, as it would have provided a more comfortable dining atmosphere. Despite the minor issue with ventilation, Beat mazesoba is definitely worth visiting for its delicious and unique food. The restaurants approach to Japanese cuisine makes it stand out among local dining options, offering a truly satisfying meal experience. ”
“ Everything was excellent!! 1010 recommend the beat mazesoba signature but everything we got was delicious! Service and ambiance was also incredible ”
“ This is a hidden gem Japanese restaurant. It doesnt look much from the outside, but the food is top of the line. The portion is generous too. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner. Good place for business meeting, date, or family gatherings. They also serve sake, Japanese alcohols, as wells as wines. ”
“ Beat Mazesoba is SO UNDERRATED how come no one raves about this spot on social media??? It is such a hidden gem specialized in mazesoba in Flushing near the Broadway LIRR Station. I am so hyped and keep telling my friends how delicious their food are. THEY DESERVE MORE BUZZ!! Beat Mazemen The signature mazemen itself deserves all the stars. It is a brothless hot soba topped with marinated ground pork, thickly cut pork belly, nori, onsen egg, and half ramen egg. I suggest mixing the ramen first and add the vinegar when you are halfway through. They serve a mini bowl of rice on the side for you to clean every drip of the flavorful sauce. Tuna Yukke Bowl The tuna bowl is topped with hearty chunks of raw tuna, cucumber and shredded tamago. Shoyu on the side. It is like a giant poke bowl. Shoyu Ramen Although they are more known for mazesoba, their ramen is also delicious. They have options like miso, shoyu, shio and kimchi ramen. ”
“ Great food and service on the Northern Boulevard! Came in with my friend for a quick lunch. Ordered two starters for sharing and one ramen each. The ribs are truly amazing, with amazing sweet and sour sauce on it. The fired chicken is not so juicy but still worth a try. The best part is the ramen. I had the one with a raw egg with it. Mixing the egg in the ramen adds more flavor in it, and neutralize the salty flavor from the ramen and pork. My friend orders the yuzu ramen and it really has a strong fresh yuzu flavor in it. We have tried more than 50 restaurants of Japanese ramen but this is the very first time to try the yuzu ramen. The dishes are normal Japanese ramen restaurant sizes and, as for a party of 2, 2 or 3 starters and one bowl ramen for each would be enough. Ordinary price but amazing taste! We received warm welcome from the restaurants and they refill our cups very often. Great experiences and would definitely come back. ”
“ The service was good and the waiter was friendly. Good atmosphere and interior, I liked the cozy atmosphere the restaurant gave. The food they served was also fantastic, and felt like a kind of a fancier comfort food I could enjoy any time. The udon salad was zesty and it was nice to have along with their signature maze sobas. My favorite was their salmon bowl. The salmon was very tender and chewy, you can tell that it is fresh and high quality. The portion was big, which is a plus. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ This place is one of my top Grub Hub go tos. Today I decided to eat in house, as usual everything was amazing but it tasted even more special since I was eating immediately in situ. I had my usual Beat Metzoba which is the brothless soba noodle ramon with pork belly, in house you can get a miso soup for a 1 extra if you wish, being my favorite dish from here, always a beautiful eyeful and just as delicious an experience. My start was KarrAged chicken bites which are Japanese fried chicken pieces, they were quite crisp on the exterior but moist and tender upon your first bite. The spicy mayo sauce and lemon were the perfect addition, I ate it all myself and was craving more, the portion is big enough to share for two. The main dish I had was Chasu Don which was a pork belly dish with a fried egg and other delicacies, alas it was too much for me to finish in one sitting so I had it packed to go. They packaged it very tenderly like an original to go order, how thoughtful!! The hangor steak is a regular favorite of mine as well and so are the Bao Sandwiches and the Blistered Shishido Peppers. I honestly dont think you can order badly here. The place has a really kool vibe as well with a wonderful modern minimalist style and cool contemporary tunes in the background to set the mood. They are covid compliant with sanitizing gel on every table and all staff wear masks. You are required as by the law to be vaccinated to enjoy indoor dining and it is courteously enforced. In more favorable conditions outdoor dining in the back patio is also available. Im glad I came the staff were welcoming and professional and I will definitely visit again as time allows. ”
